The Valley of the Clarée offers you many possibilities of rackets excursions, for all levels, from simple walks to excursions for experienced hikers.

An excursion in the low valley towards "Plampinet" along "Clarée" : frosted trees, rocks covered with snow, tracks from hares, birds, foxes, squirrels and roe-deers. (4/5 h of walking, uneven for 200 to 300 m).

The hotel "l'Echaillon" proposes several trips :

- an outing in the "musher's" sledge, in Névache or Plampinet, on a 3 km loop over varied ground,
- the same course but you will have the possibility of driving the sledge,
- The engagement of the "musher" and its dogs : you will be able to spend between 1/2 day and 2 days (with night in a refuge).

The Nordic area "Clarée - Montgenèvre" has become a paradise for cross country skiers.
Lovers of snow, silence and protected areas will find everything they need to satisfy their need for nature and authenticity.

From Névache to Clavière, the 80 kms of pistes allow you to cross great white expanses, larch forests, black pines, and to even cross wild animal tracks.

Great skiable areas such as "Montgenèvre" or "Serre-Chevalier" are within approximately 15 kms.
